PH TOOL校准块BASIC4.5系列介绍

Used for establishment of primary reference responses for UT examination of welds. Block contains three side-drilled holes at 1.5 deep minimum at 3/32 diameter. Hole locations through the thickness are ¼, ½, and ¾T. Also contains two EDM notches measuring 2%T deep x 1/4 max wide x 1.0 long min. 

ASME Basic Calibration Blocks are intended to be representative of actual components, and therefore do not have the smooth scanning surfaces found on most general-purpose test blocks like the IIW or DSC. Instead, our Basic Calibration Blocks are media blasted on all surfaces to create a rough surface texture that is more characteristic of real-world inspection conditions.

For calibrating ultrasonic flaw detection equipment in both laboratory and on-site conditions.

The version of this block includes a 100mm radius, 1.5mm and 50.0mm holes, engraved reference mark scales, and two optional slots at the zero point which provide calibrating signals at intervals of 100mm range.

This block is not to be confused with the new EN 12223/ ISO 2400 Calibration Block No. 1 (also called the K1 block,) which is similar but contains a 3.0mm through-hole rather than a 1.5mm hole.

Set of eight flat-bottom hole blocks used to determine the relationship between flaw size and echo amplitude by comparing signal responses.

Metal travel distance is 3.000” for all blocks, and FBH diameter ranges from #1 (1/64) to #8 (8/64). In accordance with ASTM E127-19 (now encompassing all materials, not just aluminum.) Includes our NIST traceable certification report, ultrasonic inspection report and response plot, and the certified material test report.

Dimensions: FBH diameters are 1/64, 2/64, 3/64, 4/64, 5/64, 6/64, 7/64, and 8/64. Block diameter is 2.0"

Note:  7075-T6 Aluminum version is soft-anodized, dyed black color by default.  Note that this soft anodic coating is not suitable for permanent immersion in hard water. If you plan to keep blocks permanently immersed or immersed long-term in water, please discuss options for a sealed, hard anodic coating with PH Tool sales.
