方向控制阀的功能是控制气动回路中的流动方向。方向控制阀能够控制空气通过的方式。这些阀门可以调节气流，能够停止流体流动、允许流体流动和改变流体流动的方向。这三种功能通常组合使用。

Directional control valves function is to control the direction of flow in the pneumatic circuit. Directional control valves are able to control the way the air passes. These valves can regulate the airflow being capable to stop fluid flow, allow fluid flow, and change the direction of fluid flow. These three functions usually operate in combination.

The SERPAR® Series valves are internally monitored double valves with a built-in monitoring device that checks for the proper operation of each valve element. If the internal monitor detects a valve fault on a particular cycle, the double valve will fail to a safe condition (all downstream air is exhausted) and the monitor will lock-out to inhibit further operation of the device. Normal operation can only be resumed by a momentary reset signal to the valve.

Flow control valves provide high air flow rates into a cylinder, and precisely controlled flow rates out of the cylinder.  The adjustable flow can range from near zero to full flow.

The  Lockout  L-O-X® valve is used to block the supply and remove the downstream pressure from the circuit or machine and allow the employee to lockout the pneumatic energy for safe machine access.
